Mentor Match Program
Announced at the 10th Annual Women Making Waves conference in March 2020, WIFT-AT’s Mentor Match Program, supported by Telefilm Canada, provides members at different levels of experience with a formalized opportunity to learn from, guide, and support each other through a series of focused one-on-one sessions over a nine-month period.
Talent To Watch
WIFT-AT is pleased to announce the guidelines for the Industry Partner Stream of Telefilm Canada’s Talent to Watch program for 2024. Talent to Watch supports emerging filmmakers looking to finance the production stage of their first feature film project. As an Industry Partner, WIFT-AT can nominate one production in the Main component, and one production in the Indigenous component. Filmmakers have until April 8th, 2024 to submit their application to WIFT-AT. After that, an independent peer jury will make recommendation decisions.
