WIFT-AT is thrilled to announce that the 2012 WMW Fundraiser - this initiative will raise funds for the brand new Emerging Filmmakers’ Award – will include works of art by women artists from each of our four Atlantic provinces, women who are making waves in their own disciplines.

Prince Edward Island’s Periscope Pictures is donating the colourful [and large!] diptych Trumpet Nature Trumpet Love by the equally colourful Island artist Suzanne O’Callaghan. New Brunswick’s celebrated clay artist Carol Taylor is offering us the elegant COMPLETE SANCTUARY - a two piece section work of a clay figure within a little box that opens and closes. Valued at $325, the sculpture measures 7 ½” by 6” wide. Carol’s last exhibition was Future Fossils, a solo show at the New Brunswick Museum in Saint John.
