Reel Talk: Welcomes Cinematographer Becky Parsons, May 27th

Coming up on May 27th, Reel Talk welcomes Cinematographer Becky Parsons.  Becky has been shooting motion pictures since 2002, collaborating with emerging filmmakers from Atlantic Canada.  Her credits include “Rhonda’s Party” (Best Short at Young Cuts Film Festival 2010, Montreal) with producing-directing team Nelson MacDonald and Ashley McKenzie; ‘Gibson Woods’, for award-winning director Ann Verrall; and “Wake” (winner of the 2010 CBC Short Film Face Off), produced and directed by Jeremy Webb. She is currently collaborating with director Jeremy Webb and writer Jessica Marsh on their series of short films.

Our final guest before we break for the summer will be filmmaker & Carbon Arc founder Siloën Daley on June 24th.

About the Carbon Arc:

The Carbon Arc is working towards being a nightly independent cinema space with concessions and room to work and hang out. Our focus is on creating a friendly environment where all kinds of people can gather to enjoy each others company and discuss a film before or after the show with a drink, sit alone in the dark with a bag of popcorn, or even make a film while drinking a coffee in the lobby. The Carbon Arc looks forward to showing your films and films that you want to see.
