Women in Film and Television Atlantic is celebrating one of their very own, pioneer international filmmaker and WIFT-AT Board member Annett Wolf in an in depth, intimate conversation with Halifax filmmaker Juanita Peters.
Born in Denmark, Ms. Wolf is a critically acclaimed producer, director, writer, interviewer, and environmental advocate with international accomplishments in North American and European television, film and theatre.
An award-winning documentary filmmaker, Annett has profiled icons such as Elvis Presley, Jack Lemmon, Alfred Hitchcock, Ingmar Bergman, Jacques Brel and Peter Sellers. Known also for her strong environmental commitment, Annett founded The Wolf Foundation, a non-profit organization providing support to help maintain the natural balance of the wolf population in Arctic and subarctic territories.
One of the original founders of Women in Film and Television International (WIFTI), Annett was WIFTI’s first President and, later, Vice-President of WIFT Los Angeles. This past year she has served on the Board of Directors for WIFT Atlantic and has recently become a special advisor to our Board. Annett Wolf now makes Cape Breton home.

“Peters and The Wolf” will be followed at 3pm by WIFT-AT’s AGM with election of the new slate and the Report from the Board on a very active year for a fledgling organization.
At 4pm, all business concluded, the Second Annual WIFT-Atlantic CupcakePalooza welcomes everyone to come and celebrate all the WIFT-AT members whose movies will show in this year’s Atlantic Film Festival.
