To:  The Members of WIFT-AT Women in Film and Television Inc./FCT-AT Femmes Du Cinéma Et De La Télévision Inc. (WIFT-AT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of WIFT-AT will be held at Carbon Arc Cinema in the Khyber, 1588 Barrington St, 3rd Floor, Halifax, Nova Scotia on Monday, September 19, 2011 starting at 1:30 p.m..

The purpose of the Annual General Meeting is to:

1. Receive the Report of the Board of Directors and Auditors for the past fiscal year;
2. Consider and, if appropriate, affirm the proposed amendments to the By-laws of WIFT-AT, which were approved by the Board of Directors (a separate document including the current By-laws, proposed amendments, and proposed amended By-laws is provided to Members in conjunction with this Notice);
3. Elect new Directors to the Board;
4. Appoint Lyle Tilley Davidson, Chartered Accountants, as Auditors for the current fiscal year; and
5. Conduct such other business as may come before the meeting.

Only Full Members of WIFT-AT are entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting and to serve on the Board of Directors. Each voting member shall have the right to exercise one vote. A voting member may, by means of a written proxy, appoint a specific proxyholder to attend and act on behalf of the member at the Annual General Meeting, in the manner and to the extent authorized by the proxy.

Associate Members and Student and Senior Members are welcome to attend the Annual General Meeting, but are not entitled to vote or to serve on the Board of Directors.
